I had the honor of collaborating with CurePDE Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by pyridoxine-dependent epilepsy (PDE), a rare neurological condition. When CurePDE was just starting, they approached me to help them define their brand and create a platform that would serve as a home base for their growing community. From brand strategy to visual identity and a fully customized website, I worked closely with the foundation to ensure their mission and values were reflected in every aspect of their online presence.

Our goal was to craft a brand that felt engaging, welcoming, and uplifting, providing a sense of community for those dealing with the challenges of PDE. Through the use of a vibrant yet calming color palette and intuitive design elements, we aimed to make the website both a source of comfort and a hub of information. The website was designed to not only raise awareness but also offer resources, including blog posts on research, educational materials, and a platform where individuals could share their personal stories and connect with others.

One of the key focuses of the project was ensuring the site was highly functional and easy to navigate, especially for families and individuals searching for support. We made it simple for visitors to find upcoming events, stay updated on the latest research, and explore ways to get involved with the foundation. By fostering a sense of community through storytelling and shared experiences, we helped CurePDE build a space where hope thrives and empowerment is within reach.

Working with CurePDE allowed me to dive deep into the world of rare diseases and use design as a tool to create real impact. Together, we built not just a website, but a vital resource where those affected by PDE can find strength, knowledge, and a supportive community.
