For Wednesday Photography, I had the privilege of crafting a website that truly reflects the artistry, passion, and unique perspective of the brand. Wednesday’s photography is all about capturing the essence of love stories through an intimate, cinematic lens, and the goal for the website was to create a digital experience that felt both ethereal and edgy, perfectly mirroring the emotion and depth seen in her work. The challenge was to bring this unique storytelling approach to life online, ensuring that visitors feel the same sense of magic and authenticity that Wednesday brings to every wedding.

To achieve this, I incorporated a storybook aesthetic with a modern twist—combining timeless black-and-white photography with rich, tactile elements. The website’s color palette features off-white backgrounds and paper textures, lending an organic, handcrafted quality that resonates with Wednesday’s artistic approach. Deep green fonts were chosen for their earthy, elegant vibe, while bright royal blue accents were used strategically to make calls to action pop, guiding users seamlessly through the site.

From a strategy perspective, the focus was not only on visual appeal but also on functionality and user experience. The site was designed with Wednesday Photography’s ideal clients in mind: couples who appreciate both the artistry of film photography and the beauty of authentic storytelling. These are couples who want more than just posed shots—they’re looking for someone who will capture their wedding in a way that feels genuine, raw, and timeless. With this in mind, we designed a streamlined navigation system that allows potential clients to easily explore the portfolio, learn about Wednesday’s process, and get a feel for the services offered.
